If this sensation is consumed in a fitting, spicy foods can provide benefits to the body. But if consumed too much, spicy food can actually be dangerous to the body.

Spicy food does give a sensation of enjoyment for those who consume it because it gives an addictive effect and is also believed to relieve stress and make a bad mood back to improve.

Whereas eating often spicy foods can cause a variety of diseases that will largely be fatal to the digestive system.

The danger of consuming too much spicy food that needs to know:

1. May cause acute ulcer

For those of you who have problems with digestion, especially the stomach should not consume too often spicy foods because it will exacerbate your enlightenment, and can cause you to be affected by acute ulcer.

Gastric disease commonly called this gastritis, caused by inflammation of the gastric mucosa. Acute ulcer is usually characterized by several symptoms, such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache and fever.

2. Worsened peptic ulcers

Peptic ulcer is a wound that appears on the part of the stomach wall due to the eroded lining of the stomach wall. The disease usually appears on the walls of the first part of the small intestine (duodenum) and the esophagus. The main symptoms of the disease are pain in the liver, nausea, loss of appetite and flatulence.

If you have symptoms of peptic ulcers, you should avoid consuming spicy foods too often because it will cause symptoms to be severe. If the disease becomes worse, it will cause bleeding in the stomach and is at risk of gastric cancer.

3. Frequent headaches

You often have headaches? It could be one of the causes because you eat spicy foods often. Spicy foods can also make your head become often sick because of the impact of acute ulcer disease that first attack you.

If you often feel headaches, and have a history of acute ulcer disease, it is better to avoid eating spicy foods so as not to aggravate your health condition.

4. Abdominal pain

If you have ulcer, eating spicy foods can trigger stomach acid rise. Because, eating too much chili can make the walls to welcome irritation. This is what triggers rapid gastric acid rise. This is why the stomach feels pain after tasting spicy food.

5. Heartburn Stomach

Some people will feel heartburn after eating spicy foods. This is because eating spicy foods can accelerate movement in the intestines that facilitate the occurrence of diarrhea. 6. Acid Reflux

For some people, spicy foods can trigger acid reflux which is the condition of the back flow of gastric contents into the esophagus. This acid reflux can trigger the syndrome of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), wounds on the esophagus (esophagitis), also atypical syndrome, which can interfere with daily activities. 

7. Difficulty sleeping at night

The difficulty of sleeping at night can also be caused by spicy food that you often consume. Because after consuming spicy foods, the body temperature will be increased, while your body should also slow down the metabolism before going to bed so you can sleep soundly. It is best to avoid eating spicy foods at night so that your sleep quality can be awake and avoid insomnia.

8. Loss of appetite

Consuming too much spicy food can eliminate appetite, why can it? Because the taste senses to numbness to other flavors than spicy, so the desire to consume other foods is reduced.
